Statistical Research
Numerous studies, publications, and reports produced domestically and abroad on the Polish fuel and energy sector cite the Energy Market Agency (ARE) as a source of the presented information. Data on the functioning of energy sectors, in almost all of its aspects, have been collected, processed, and published by our company since its inception.
The foundation of this work consists of statistical research conducted by us on behalf of the Ministry of Climate and Environment (formerly the Ministry of Climate, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Economy and Labor, and Ministry of Economy, Labor, and Social Policy). These studies are conducted by the minister responsible for energy, the President of the Central Statistical Office, and the President of the Energy Regulatory Office. In addition to energy sectors, the studies cover a large and growing group of fuel and energy consumers, including industrial, service, and commercial enterprises, as well as households.
From developing the scope of the research, organizing its execution, collecting data, verifying and processing it, to compiling the final information, we provide reliable information to all interested parties. This information is prepared in the form of publications and individual studies available in printed or electronic form, including reports available online.
The many years of experience the Agency has in statistical research allows us to state that it is carried out by a team of highly qualified experts in both statistics and the fuel and energy economy. All quality and safety requirements mandated by European Union regulations and national law are met in this type of work.
The efforts of the Energy Market Agency in this area were recognized with the Award of Honor for Contributions to Polish Statistics, presented during the celebration of the 95th anniversary of the Central Statistical Office, whose President is the central governmental body responsible for statistics. The standard results of the statistical studies conducted by ARE include:
- publications by the Energy Market Agency,
- data published in the publications of the Central Statistical Office,
- data published by international organizations – EUROSTAT, the statistical office of the European Union, and the International Energy Agency.
In addition to research conducted as part of public statistics, we also carry out individual studies tailored to the needs and requirements of the client. Using our knowledge and long-standing experience in this area, we provide our clients with information that is not available in public sources.
