Heating sector transformation
We support and advise on the modernisation of district heating systems or individual heat sources, leading to a reduction in the consumption of solid fossil fuels and a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions, using renewable energy. Our focus is mainly on projects whose implementation will help achieve the highest possible energy efficiency and cost efficiency of the modernised heat source. Working closely with the Client, we will identify the optimal modernisation option for a given heating system and carry out a full economic viability analysis of the investment in a new generation source for each of the options considered, based on technologies using natural gas/biogas, biomass or other solutions.
As part of the service, the following will be delivered to Clients:
- a technical analysis of the existing system, including a review of the technology used and verification of the company's current and future heat balance,
- a technical proposal for modernising the system, based on, among others, gas, renewables, waste-derived fuels, solar collectors and heat pumps,
- a full economic analysis of the investment in modernising the system, covering the payback period, cash flow projections and potential revenues from cogeneration auctions (if applicable),
- optionally, the possibility of applying for so-called white certificates.
