Reducing energy costs in your company
We analyse the structure of energy consumption and the related costs to identify opportunities for improving the economic and energy efficiency of operations. The aim of the service is to prepare for the Client a medium-term strategy for managing electricity or other utilities in the company.
Scope of support:
- identification of measures improving energy efficiency,
- audit of energy procurement costs,
- analysis of the consumption profile and structure,
- assessment of the terms of sales and distribution contracts,
- recommendations for measures to reduce energy costs,
- support in choosing an energy procurement model.
The scope of the service offered includes:
- a review of the market of suppliers of electricity and/or other utilities,
- identification of possible sources of electricity supply, including exchange purchases, cPPAs, construction of own generation units and/or energy storage – disadvantages, advantages and risks,
- an analysis of the company's current energy situation,
- an analysis of current electricity/gas supply contracts,
- an analysis of the most common forms of electricity contracting by end users,
- development of an energy management strategy for the next 2–3 years (scenario analysis possible), covering in particular:
- an estimate of energy costs after implementing the strategy,
- an assessment of the economic viability of the investments proposed as part of the analysis,
- an analysis of the strategy's sensitivity to changes in the legal and business environment,
- the possibility of obtaining financial support (e.g. from EU programmes or targeted grants), including an analysis of eligibility criteria.
