The purpose of this training is to familiarize participants with the principles of operation of the national energy market. The structure of the electricity market (producers, TSO, DSO, energy exchange, trading companies, end consumers) will be discussed, as well as the forms of trade and types of transactions that take place on it, as regulated by law and government documents. The functioning of the bilateral contracts market, the exchange market, the balancing market, and the technical market will also be discussed. After completing the training, participants will have knowledge of the rules governing the national energy sector, understand the difference between the wholesale and retail markets, and become familiar with the basic legal acts regulating the energy market. This training is aimed at anyone wishing to acquire or expand knowledge about the operation of the Polish energy market, allowing them to effectively navigate and manage in this area of the economy.
