About the training sessions
The Energy Market Agency Joint Stock Company (ARE S.A.) was established on February 24, 1997, to conduct statistical research and system analyses, including economic simulations in the field of energy management.
The most important and prestigious area of activity is the statistical research and analyses we conduct in collaboration with government agencies, with the resulting dominant task being the management and development of the Fuel and Energy Economy Database for public statistics and providing information in this area to government authorities, energy companies, and other entities operating in the market. In this field, we closely cooperate with the Ministry of Climate and Environment (formerly the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Economy and Labor, the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Social Policy), the Central Statistical Office, and the Energy Regulatory Office.
An important segment of ARE's information offerings is the well-known portal CIRE.pl, which is updated 24 hours a day and is familiar to anyone involved in energy issues. It continuously provides information about events in the fields of electricity, gas, heating, and mining, while also serving as a place for free exchange of opinions on related topics.
Another important area of service is organizing and conducting training sessions for various audiences interested in the functioning and development of the Polish energy market. Currently, the training sessions organized by ARE S.A. have become a permanent element of the new services provided for our clients.
In 2024, ARE is conducting three dedicated training programs on a regular basis:
1. "Principles of Energy Market Functioning in Poland"
2. “Obligation to Reduce Energy Consumption by Public Entities”
3. “Basics of the Capacity Market in Poland”
These training sessions provide an opportunity to acquire knowledge that will allow participants to enhance their basic qualifications and enable them to fulfill their responsibilities more effectively in their energy companies, thus allowing for further, deeper specialization in their field of activity. They are dedicated to all individuals wishing to systematize their existing knowledge, employees of companies in the industry, market analysts, financial advisors advising the energy sector, entrepreneurs wondering how the energy and capacity markets operate and whether there is room for their capital, as well as journalists and commentators seeking to understand how the national energy market works. The training is also dedicated to all individuals and employees dealing with issues related to improving energy efficiency, particularly in public administration, local government, and other public, cultural, or social organizations and institutions.
Additionally, in response to reported needs, ARE also organizes and conducts dedicated training sessions on various topics of interest to corporate clients in the financial sector, fintech, large energy companies, and industrial consumers.
